Description

The following will be covered during the workshop: overview of BC Hydro’s public charging network, current and future plans to 2030; approach with partnerships with First Nation Hosts; and specific case studies - high-level process (key learnings) Sq'éwqel (Seabird Island Band) in Agassiz and McLeod Lake Indian Band. We will also provide an overview of considerations of owning and operating your own fast charging stations.

Participants will learn about BC Hydro Public EV charging program; process of partnering with BC Hydro on the deployment of EV fast charging stations; unique considerations (Identification of areas of Archeological significance, ISC permitting etc.); and benefits with working with BC Hydro.
