This think-tank-style workshop will critique the current Additions to Reserve (ATR) process and explore reforms related to the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management. Participants will discuss the RC’s proposed pilot projects, policy and process changes, and issues that may remain.

Speaker Biography

Andrew is the Director of Land Code Governance at the First Nations Land Management Resource Centre (Resource Centre). The Resource Centre has been established to support First Nations governing their reserve lands under land codes in accordance with the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management. There are now over 100 First Nations governing their reserves under land codes. Andrew has over thirty-five years of experience working on First Nation lands and self-government. Andrew is married with two adult children, is busy with home renovations, and collects vintage stereo equipment, particularly JBL studio monitors.
