National Addition to Reserve Tracking System Demonstration
Presenting Organization
NALMA
Description
The National Addition to Reserve Tracking System (NATS) is the portal used to submit and record Addition to Reserve proposals submitted to Indigenous Services Canada (ISC). The system allows the ability to provide a secure and protected online system as per the Policy of Government Security. The NATS system tracks the status of proposals online via the portal, exchange, track and save communications between the Regional Office, Stakeholders, and the First Nation representatives. It also creates joint work plans and tracks work proposal reviews, assessments from Head Quarters as well as ministerial approval.
By attending, participants will learn how to enter data into NATS and receive a detailed explanation of the portal. Users will be confident as they become an advocate for their team or First Nation for using NATS. NATS will support fostering communication between ISC and First Nations in an effort to expedite the Addition to Reserve Process.
